Andrea Salemme:
Owner & Master Stylist

Andrea was born and raised in Connecticut and resides there still with her husband of 25 years and her 3 children. She is a Licensed Cosmetologist, Salon Owner, Certified Master Colorist, Educator, College Graduate, Mother, Wife and Lifelong Student.

Her motto is "NEVER STOP LEARNING"

Early in Andrea's career as a stylist she trained with a world-renowned stylist and educator, Vincent Farricelli. With a mentor like this she went on to become a Master Stylist and train with Wella Color Clairol Color, Shwartzcoff Color, Logics Color,Kadus Color ,Perma of Paris Color, Goldwell Color, L'Oreal Color, and Aveda Color. Through her extensive training she became a Certified Master Colorist and Educator. 

As an Educator she traveled around the country teaching basic and advanced techniques to both stylists and salon owners.

Andrea's work has appeared on the cover of Parade magazine in The New Haven Register .The North Haven Public Access Channel with her own makeover show and has had the honor of being the personal stylist of Miss Connecticut.

In 1993 Andrea opened her first Salon in North Haven Ct, Andrea Salemme Salon Associates LLC, after opening her first salon she was chosen by Fleet Bank in Ct as one of the top area woman small business owners and participated in a Bank sponsored Women in Business Showcase.

In 2001 Andrea moved her salon and changed the name to Le Petite Salon and Spa expanded to offer a full range of Aveda Salon and Spa services and added a Photography Studio.

In 2005 Andrea was fortunate to be able to purchase a building and put together her dream salon and spa in a renovated 1920s building complete with hardwood floors and fireplace and a second floor dedicated to her spa services. Andrea also dedicated her salon to be green and continues to only work with companies that are environmentally friendly and safe. Andrea uses only Aveda products, which are organic and safe for both the client and the staff.

Andrea has continued to teach and train throughout her career as she has successfully run her salon and spa for over 23 years. She has trained and mentored many stylists who have come through her salon over the years and is extremely proud of their accomplishments.

Andrea believes in giving back to the community .Her numerous charities include The American Cancer Society, with the Certification and work with Connecticut Hospice in the Look Good Feel Good Program, Aids project New Haven, The Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, The Madd Foundation, The CT Domestic Violence Foundation for Women and Children, Breast Cancer Awareness, and local schools and charities.

Our highly trained team of professionals delivers a unified vision tailored to each individual guest. We are constantly striving to better our skills with training and advanced education.

We are a full-service Aveda salon committed to offering our guests quality services with our unprecedented team of professionals. We believe in the science of Aveda and their Ayurvedic philosophies behind every product we use.

We are committed not only to our guests but also to our community and environment, through charity, recycling and using only the best natural products.

Le Petite Salon and Spa is a member of the Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce, and we are continually working to enrich our community through local organizations and charities.  

Policies

For your first visit, plan on arriving 15 minutes prior. This will allow enough time for you to find parking, change into spa attire, and have a consultation. If you desire extra time to relax and unwind, please come in 20 minutes prior to your first visit and enjoy some AVEDA Comforting Tea as you settle in.

Please turn off your cell phone when in the spa or salon.

Your privacy and comfort are of the utmost importance to us. Spa treatments require various levels of undress and our therapists are trained in appropriate methods of draping. Although your therapist will discuss a complete overview of the treatment you will experience, please feel free to ask any questions or make special requests to ensure your own comfort level.

We understand that sometimes you need to change your schedule. We kindly ask that you give us 24 hours notice if you must cancel an appointment. If no notice is given, your credit card will be charged the 1/2 value of the service. We regret that we cannot replace lost or stolen gift cards.

We recommend that you schedule your next appointment prior to leaving the spa or salon to ensure you have the appointment time that you most desire.

Wedding Package Cancellation Policy

All bridal bookings require a two week cancellation or a 50% charge of the services will occur. Please arrive 10 minutes Early.

Deposit is required. Gratuity NOT included.
